Sovereign Society is a modern social club built around people, experiences, connection, and culture.
We bring people together to meet, explore new interests, share experiences, and find good company.
There is no single definition of a Society gathering. It might be sports and outdoor games, board games, online gaming, music, group conversations, casual hangouts, competitions, creative activities, or community events.
Different people connect in different ways. The Society can make room for those circles while keeping everyone part of one welcoming community.
Come for the experience.
Stay for the people.
02How we show up
Freedom without disorder. Confidence without arrogance. A little consideration goes a long way.
Respect personal space, comfort, consent, and a clear no. Never pressure someone to interact.
Speak to people with respect. Humour is welcome; making someone uncomfortable for entertainment is not.
Welcome different personalities and interests. Don't turn a circle of friends into a reason to exclude.
Be mindful of the people and place around you. Have fun without creating a problem for someone else.
Address misunderstandings calmly. Don't bring unnecessary conflict or negativity into the community.
Show up for your responsibilities, communicate clearly, and represent the Society with care.
03The people behind it
Five roles. One Society. Each role has a clear purpose, carried by the people who make this community what it is.
Guides the Society and stewards its direction.
Shares leadership and helps coordinate the Society.
Offers perspective and counsel to the leadership.
Helps share the Society's identity and connect with its community.
Important: This role should not automatically grant administrative authority or permission to speak on behalf of the club on every matter.
Contribute to the community and support its activities.
These concise descriptions are presented for the website; the club can refine them.
